Fox Valley Lutheran High School is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the people responsible for causing extensive damage to football and soccer fields this past spring.
The most extensive damage happened in March when a late model Jeep tore up the turf on four sports fields, including the competition football and soccer fields.
Damage estimates exceed $250,000.
Repair work will begin soon, but it appears that the fields will not be ready for play this fall.
School officials say the acts of vandalism "robbed our girls' soccer team of their home spring season and now will be taking away the upcoming fall seasons from both our football and boys' soccer teams."
Officials are working to find alternate sites for fall competitions.
Anyone with tips in this case is asked to call the Appleton Police Department's non-emergency line at (920)-832-5500. You can remain anonymous using the department's phone app.
