This message on the Fox River Racing Club's facebook page, the Outagamie County Sheriff's Department say it happened after a crash at the Wisconsin International Raceway, in the town of Buchanan at 7:50 PM Friday night.
The track was holding the annual Eve of Destruction event, during one of the races, two cars collided, and one of the drivers a 43 year old Appleton man died from injuries.
The sheriff's department was with Gold Cross Ambulance, Thedastar, and Buchanan First Responders.
The incident remains under investigation.
