A store manager at a Fox Crossing mobile phone store is facing charges after allegedly staging a burglary to cover up the theft of store property.
It happened on September 1, at a Verizon store located at 1395 W. American Drive.
Officers said an employee opening the store found the rear door ajar.
Money and electronics valued at $40,000 were missing.
The investigation found the store manager, 25-year-old Arron Hoch of Fox Crossing, had been involved in ongoing thefts from the store for several months.
Officers said the burglary had been staged to cover his involvement.
Hoch was found to have sold numerous reported stolen items to an Appleton man and area resale stores.
According to police, on October 11 a search warrant was executed at Hoch's home in Fox Crossing.
Investigators found numerous electronic items reported stolen in the burglary as well as additional company property.
Investigators also found electronic storage devices containing personal photos or "selfies" of numerous women. Many of the photos included women in various states of clothing, including full nudity.
Four of the women were identified and allege the images were stolen without their consent or knowledge during a time which they had traded in or transferred data from an old phones at the Verizon Store.
Hoch has been charged in Winnebago County for Felony Theft and 4 counts of Disorderly Conduct.
Detectives are still looking to identify several other victims whose photographs were found in the search warrant.
