Fourth annual Independence Day Community Fireworks Show set in Howard

Posted

Looking for something to do ahead of the Fourth of July in the Green Bay area? The Village of Howard announced it will host its fourth annual fireworks show on Friday, June 30.

The Independence Day Community Fireworks Show, in partnership with Spielbauer Fireworks Company and Meijer, will be held June 30 at Meadowbrook Park at dusk, around 9:30 p.m.

Anyone who wants to attend the show can park for free at Meadowbrook Elementary School and Meadowbrook Church, both located on Hillcrest Heights, or the West Side YMCA and Green Bay Community Church, both on Cardinal Lane.

The fireworks will be visible from these and other areas around Meadowbrook Park.

According to the Village of Howard, the fireworks display started after requests from neighbors for a family-friendly Independence Day event in the community.
