A former Oshkosh West soccer coach was formally charged with sexual assault of a student in Winnebago County Circuit Court.
Court documents show 23-year old Frederick Baier also faces counts of second -degree sexual assault with use of force and causing a child to view sexual activity.
According to the criminal complaint the alleged assaults date back to June 2016. Baier is facing charges in regards to two separate incidents.
The first involves sexually explicit SnapChat images the former coach allegedly sent to 13-year-old girl.
The second and third charges are more serious. The criminal complaint states Baier would buy alcohol for teens at parties and at one of those parties over the summer Baier allegedly "started flirting with and kissing" a 16-year-old girl. Later that night, according to the criminal complaint, Baier sexually assaulted the teen.
Investigators conducted a search warrant after a Oshkosh Police Department Resource Officer became aware of the allegedly inappropriate contact with students at the school.
Baier was placed on a $15,000 cash bail. His next court date is scheduled for November 21.
