With you help, NBC26 and Festival Foods are now able to help feed about 2,000 local families in need!

Our team helped deliver the donations from the NBC26 Food for Neighbors Drive at the Festival Foods in Bellevue, to the Brown County Food and Hunger Network Monday morning.

The nearly 6,290 pounds of food donated will now be distributed to 10 food pantries across Brown County.

Leaders from the Brown County Food and Hunger Network say, these donations will have a huge impact on local families in need.

"The smaller pantries don't always have the resources that some of the larger pantries do," said Chad Clements, President of the Brown County Food and Hunger Network. "So they depend a lot on generosity from the community."

Clements also adds that food insecurity among families, can be a problem that is often overlooked.

The entire news team and staff here at NBC26 would like to extend a big thank you to everyone that came out to see us and donate on Friday! Your generosity is greatly appreciated and is making a lasting impact throughout Brown County.
