Fond du Lac Police are investigating a report of child enticement at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Willsher Drive and Wakefield Avenue in the southeast part of the city.
An 11-year-old girl walking in the area was approached by a white mini-van, similar to a Dodge Caravan. The sliding door opened and an occupant offered her candy. The 11-year-old fled to the nearest home where she was assisted by police.
The mini-van had partial license plate numbers of 288. The vehicle occupants were described as three white males in their late teens. The driver was wearing an orange T-shirt, jeans and a baseball hat, and possibly had a nose piercing. A rear passenger was described as wearing a gray shirt and brown baseball hat. The front passenger had a beard and brown hair.
