A 25-year-old Fond du Lac man was arrested overnight Wednesday after a five hour standoff in Fond du Lac, police said.
Fond du Lac police responded to an address on N. Peters Avenue just before 2 a.m. Wednesday for a domestic abuse incident involving the threat of gun, they said.
After a five hour standoff with the Fond du Lac Police Department's SWAT team, officers rescued the victim and four children from the residence, according to police.
They arrested a man without incident, and no one was injured.
