Heavy rain is causing some flooding concerns for some counties in Northeast Wisconsin.
Every year some areas experience some sort of flooding near waterways. The Wolf River in Shiocton and the Fox River in Berlin see some flooding at least every year.
The flood stage for the Wolf River is 12 ft. It's affecting areas in Outagamie, Shawano and Waupaca Counties.
The flood stage for the Fox River is 13 ft.
The Menominee River in Marinette County flood stage is 15 feet.
It's important to make sure your drinking water is safe. If you have a private well, you'll want to make sure you take the proper precautions if your well is at risk for flooding. If you're well is submerged by flood waters.
You'll want to make sure you get your well water tested before drinking it.

Reminders for driving in heavy rain conditions
-Make sure you have your headlights on.
-Don't drive through standing water. If you come across a flooded area, turn around and find an alternate route.
-Also avoid using cruise control.
