It's a summertime tradition in Appleton. The 66th annual Flag Day parade preparations are underway today.
Crews arrived downtown and helped setup Houdini Plaza and Erb Park, where the parade begins.
The event draws hundreds of families each year.
If you're driving near downtown Appleton, you'll want to avoid the area, as State Street between Wisconsin and College Avenue will be closed for the parade.
The closures begin around noon and the parade runs from 2 to around 4:30 P.M.
