No one was hurt, but the Oshkosh Fire Dept. said a barn has been completely destroyed after someone shot off illegal fireworks in the area.
This happened Monday evening.
At the time of the fire, there were no people or animals inside.
The fire department wants to use this as a reminder, any firework that leaves the ground (like a bottle rocket) or explodes (like a firecracker) is illegal to use in the state of Wisconsin. They posted more information to their facebook page.
They also want to encourage safety this holiday weekend.
