APPLETON, Wis-- Everyone is safe after a duplex fire.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Ridgeview Drive.
Flames and smoke were seen coming from the basement, but the fire was put out quickly.
The homeowners and their four children were able to get out.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
