At 3:51 a.m. Tuesday, the Ashwaubenon Public Safety Department was dispatched to Marine Technologies, 2984 Holmgren Way, for a report of a fire alarm. Public Safety Officers arrived on scene and observed smoke coming from the roof line of the business. Ashwaubenon fire units arrived on scene and entered the commercial business and found heavy smoke conditions. The fire was located to the rear of the business and was being contained by the activation of the buildings fire sprinkler system. The area where the fire was located had mechanical equipment and building materials for the business. The fire is still under investigation and the amount of fire loss is undetermined at this time.

ASHWAUBENON, Wis – Crews battled an early morning business fire.
The call came in just before 4:00 a.m. Tuesday morning for a building in the 2900 block of Holmgren Way.
Many surrounding roads were closed as crews worked to clear smoke from the building.
The fire was in the back of the building. No workers were in the building.
Part of the building suffered heavy smoke damage.
The fire remains under investigation.
