A woman’s ex-boyfriend was stabbed in the back as he fought with her current boyfriend Saturday night in Green Bay, according to police.
Green Bay Lt. Dave Wesely said the stabbing occurred at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of Oakwood Drive.
The men started a verbal argument that led to rolling around on the ground and punching, Wesely said. After the ex stood up, the woman’s boyfriend stabbed him in the back and fled the scene in a vehicle.
Shortly after, police located and arrested the boyfriend and have requested charges of first-degree intentional homicide.
The ex-boyfriend received non-life threatening injuries and no one else was injured, Wesely said.
