Around 4:30 AM today, the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office responded to reports that a vehicle had struck a person on County Road P.
It happened north of County Road A in the Town of Rhine.
An investigation reveals a van was driving south when it hit a pedestrian. The driver called police and stayed at the scene where the pedestrian, a 23-year-old Sheboygan Falls man, was pronounced dead.
Police say alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in the crash.
Identity information is being withheld until the family can be notified and the crash remains under investigation.
