GREEN BAY, Wis. - One of the biggest reasons Packers fans will be watching Friday night’s game against Oakland closely is because Green Bay will get to see their beloved Jordy Nelson.
Jordy Nelson will be wearing a black and silver uniform and a brand-new number for the first time in ten years.
Jordy was a fan favorite here in Green Bay for a decade, but when he was traded just this summer to the Raiders, a lot of fans were devastated.
Friday night, he suits up for the first time against his former teammates. Many of those fans who rooted for him when he was playing for the Packers are still rooting for him, probably just because it's still the preseason.
The 33-year-old receiver spent his whole career with the Packers before going to Oakland.
