The American Red Cross is assisting several families after their home was damaged in a fire over the weekend.
The blaze broke out at a home on Faskell Road in New London Saturday morning.
Five adults and four children were affected, according to the Red Cross. They also say one family lost their two pets in the home.
The Red Cross says they continue to support the families as they work through this disaster.
