It's hard to believe that summer is coming to a close, but students are already heading back to school in Appleton.
Xavier Catholic Schools started the 2017-18 school year Wednesday.
It was an exciting day as students got settled into their new classrooms and got to know their teachers and classmates.
"I've been missing my friends and I'm excited to see them again," one student said.
Xavier Catholic School administrators said they have continued to see growth in their student population numbers each year.
