Two men rescued from water near Stockbridge Harbor

UPDATE: The Calumet County Sheriff's Department responded to a water rescue shortly after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday.

The Sheriff's Department says they got a call that two people were holding on to their boat in Lake Winnebago near Stockbridge Harbor.

A 62-year-old man and 76-year old man were fishing when their 14 foot aluminum boat tipped and they fell in the water. Another fisherman brought the men to shore where deputies and members of the Calumet County Dive Team helped the men on shore.

Both men were wearing personal flotation devices.

Emergency personnel called to Stockbridge Harbor this morning for a water rescue, according to Harrison Fire Rescue chief.
