Residents of the Eldorado community are launching a petition for the state of Wisconsin to remove a sex offender from Nitschke Road.
Recently, a judge placed a sex offender just two homes away from a family with four young children.
Community members say that is irresponsible and hope their petition will show the state that offenders should not live that close to children.
