EAA AirVenture saw a record number of people and planes this year. EAA Officials say about 590,000 people took in the air shows, which, is a 5% increase from last year
EAA also reports 10,000 aircrafts flying in to Wittman Regional Airport and other nearby airports. If you break that down, it's an average of 123 takeoffs and landings per hour.
