EAA air-traffic controller bill passes senate

Posted

When Oshkosh becomes the busiest airport in the world this summer, they could have paid air-traffic controllers courtesy of the Federal Government.

It's a provision in legislation that passed the Senate today, and if signed, would give EAA more flexibility in complying with FAA regulations for their AirVenture event this summer.

The bill solves a near four-year standoff with the government over the funding issue.
