Nobody was hurt after a duplex caught fire in De Pere this afternoon. It happened just after three, on the 900 block of Aldrin Street. Crews reported heavy smoke when they arrived and went inside to search the building. Nobody was inside, but a dog and a cat were rescued. The fire caused an estimated $50,000 dollars in damage. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
