City of Kaukauna fire department say they were called to a dumpster fire around 10:30 AM Sunday, upon arriving they saw smoke and small amount of flames. Firefighters examined the dumpster before extinguishing the fire completely, it was three quarters full according to investigators. The fire also melted some nearby siding on the building but no fired spread. The estimated loss is $3,000. The cause of the fire is unknown.
