Driver in motor vehicle crash ends with life threatening injuries

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash on County Highway G at the intersection with County Highway FW, in the Township of Westford, Dodge County, Wisconsin on September 2, 2017 at 7:15 AM.

Preliminary investigation shows that at approximately 2:30 AM 27-year-old William J. Golliher of Harvard, Illinois was operating a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle and was traveling north on County Highway FW, approaching a stop sign at the intersection with County Highway G. 

The motorcycle failed to stop for the stop sign and then traveled through the intersection and into the north ditch where it vaulted and overturned.  Golliher was ejected and the motorcycle struck a parked vehicle.  A resident found Golliher and the motorcycle at approximately 7:15 AM.

Golliher sustained life threatening injuries and was flown from the scene by Flight for Life to UW Hospital in Madison, WI.  His current condition is unknown.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
