In Green Bay on Saturday, the Boys and Girls Club hosted the first ever dragon boat races at City Deck.
Participants filled the dragon-shaped boats and paddled from bridge to bridge downtown.
Organizers said that it's a great way to get out and about.
"We were looking for something fresh and innovative, and one of the pillars that we focus on at the Boys and Girls Club is health and lifestyle, and what better way to have an event where we're showing how an active lifestyle is as important to us as it should be for our children," Amanda Gay said.
This first of its kind event also featured prizes and other activities at the City Deck.
