Dozens of people showed up for the same cause but all came with a different story.
Chris Heil is a thirteen year volunteer for St. Baldrick's, a charity raising money for children's cancer research.
"I leave here on an emotional high for weeks, bald head in March in Wisconsin is a little cold but such a great thing," said Heil.
The bald head means so much more to Chris. Years ago, he battled cancer himself. Luckily he is cured, but he knows some children won't be fortunate.
"They should have their first prom, their first kiss, their drivers license, you know, we need to do something about this," said Heil.
Christy and Matthew Murfield lost their 5-year-old-son to cancer earlier this year. Charities like St. Baldricks lets them know they're not alone
"Being part of a group of childhood cancer families, you meet a lot of people, and you feel for them, you get to know them," said Christy Murfield.
Now their goal is to help raise as much money as they can to help others beat childhood cancer.
"It's just fighting for all the kids, because nobody should lose their child like we have had to," said Murfield.
