Nearly 60 people held a rally in Appleton today to fight to save health care programs.
Citizen Action of Wisconsin organized several rallies across the country this weekend. The hope is to raise awareness for programs like Medicare, BadgerCare, Medicaid and social security and how they could be impacted in the future.
"I say people need to stand up and show their enthusiasm for things and get up and get involved with people and help to make sure that the future of our country is bright," said former democratic representative, Penny Bernard Schaber.
Several other rallies like the one in Appleton are scheduled in other cities throughout the state on Sunday.
