Pittsfield town officials say 30 dogs and a variety of other animals have been removed from a home.

The animals include two snakes, a quail, a bearded dragon, a guinea pig, a rooster and a white mouse.

The humane society, notes there are still other animals on the property, that they will hopefully "trap" within the next few days.

The Brown County Sheriff's Office explains, they were originally at the home for a call for a person who died from natural causes.

The Town Animal Control Officer and other Officials are working with the Bay Area Humane Society for the well being of the animals removed from the home at Highway Y in the town.

The investigation is ongoing.
