Spring is here, and soon it will be time for the sturgeon to spawn.
When the monster fish begin spawning, it always draws large crowds.
But the DNR is trying to protect the sturgeon.
So, they're recruiting volunteer "sturgeon guards" to stand along the Wolf River and tributaries, protecting the fish.
