A 6-year-old boy is dead after his father backed over him with his car.
The incident was apparently an accident but Detroit police are investigating the boy's death.
Reporters from Detroit's WXYZ-TV were told the child's father accidentally ran him over. The man told police he put the boy in the backseat of the car.
But the child must have somehow gotten out and was behind the vehicle when his father backed up.
