An Outagamie County deputy received minor injuries after his squad car was hit by a drunk driver. The incident happened Sunday on Stoney Brook Road in the Town of Buchanan.
According to a news release, the deputy was sitting in his squad car, entering a driver's information during a traffic stop when the incident occurred.
A second incident happened on Tuesday when a deputy's squad car was hit while on patrol. A vehicle crossed the center line on HWY 47 near the Town of Center. The news release reports the deputy tried to avoid the car and but collided causing damage to both drivers' side doors.
In both incidents, the intoxicated drivers were arrested for OWI offenses.
