The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department is on the look-out for someone impersonating a lieutenant from their department.
The person is telling victims they’ve missed a court date and a warrant has been issued.
The suspect then orders them to get PayPal debit cards ata specific location, and to call them back with the card numbers and pin numbers.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s department says this is a scam, and not how they do business.
