Brown County Sheriff's Deputies are searching for the driver of a motorcycle that crashed in Ledgeview early Wednesday morning.

Officials were called around 3 a.m. Wednesday to the intersection of GV (Monroe Road) and Ledgeview Road.

Police say they're looking for Shawn Vandehey, 22, who they believe is the usual primary driver of the motorcycle.

Deputies say he and any passenger may have suffered serious and possible life-threatening injuries. Police say the motorcycle failed to negotiate the roundabout, took out a sign and went over top the roundabout.

Deputies say there was a significant amount of blood at the scene of the crash and the bike is a complete loss.

A Police K9 unit was brought in along with the Ledgeview Fire Department to search using their infrared radar to search for the driver.

Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to call the Brown County Sheriff's office at 920-391-7450.
