UPDATE 10:04 a.m.:

Jeremy M. Wallenfang, 35, of Clayton, is considered a person of interest after deputies found human remains at what's believed to be his residence.

Deputies advise Wallenfang may be armed, on foot and in the Clayton area. They ask people to remain vigilant and call 911 if you see him.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office is looking for Jeremy M. Wallenfang, 35, of Clayton, after a fire at a home deputies believe to be his residence.

WCSO deputies, along with multiple other fire and first responder agencies, responded to a fire at the 3300 block of Breezewood Lane in the Town of Clayton at 6:52 a.m. Tuesday. Clayton is west of Neenah.

Deputies say the scene was chaotic when they got there, with deputies trying to go into the home after learning two people were possibly trapped inside. They couldn't make it in, however, because of the smoke and flames.

At this time the Sheriff’s Office is investigating the origins of the fire along with the State Fire Marshal's Office.

Wallenfang is believed to reside at the address but is unaccounted for and the Sheriff’s Office wishes to check on his welfare.

As of 9:07 a.m., deputies say the scene remains active and fire suppression is still occurring.
