Deputies say they've found two sets of human remains at a fire on the 3300 block of Breezewood Lane in the Town of Clayton.

Deputies originally considered Jeremy M. Wallenfang, 35, of Clayton, a person of interest after deputies found the first set of human remains at what's believed to be his residence.

Deputies with the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office say Wallenfang is still a person of interest until they identify the remains. They ask people to remain vigilant and call 911 if you see him.

The sheriff's office has no leads and is not actively pursing Wallenfang's location, according to a press release. The release says it will take several days to identify the remains.

WCSO deputies, along with multiple other fire and first responder agencies, responded to the fire at the 3300 block of Breezewood Lane in the Town of Clayton at 6:52 a.m. Tuesday. Clayton is west of Neenah.

Deputies say the scene was chaotic when they got there, with deputies trying to go into the home after learning two people were possibly trapped inside. They couldn't make it in, however, because of the smoke and flames.

At this time the sheriff’s office is investigating the origins of the fire along with the State Fire Marshal's Office.
