Delta flight diverted to Austin Straubel

UPDATE: A Delta Airlines flight headed to Minneapolis was diverted to Austin Straubel International Airport after fumes of unknown origin developed in the cockpit and cabin. The 131 passenger and 5 crew members were deplaned by jet bridge into the terminal safely. The passengers were routed on to different flights.

Emergency crews have arrived at the runway of Austin Straubel International Airport to meet a Delta Airlines flight after pilots asked to be diverted Tuesday afternoon.

Flight 2841 from Grand Rapids to Minneapolis took off just before 3:30 PM CDT and was diverted within an hour of the flight.
