Sunday was the last day of the gun deer hunt, but one bow hunter is sharing her success story with NBC26.
Stephanie from Oneida took down a 4-point buck with her bow. She says bow hunting has been in her family for generations and that she enjoys it because it's more of a challenge than gun hunting.
Stephanie's daughter Lucia is just 3-years-old and she loves to support her mom's hunting habit. Stephanie says she's thrilled to be passing on the tradition of hunting to her daughter. For Stephanie and her family she says hunting isn't just a sport, but a way of life for them.
