UPDATE: Deputies have released the name of the victim. They say Benjamin Huerth of Poy Sippi died in the crash.
After the search, deputies say that Huerth was the only occupant.
Deputies say it appears he was not wearing a seatbelt. Speed may have been a factor in the crash, which is still under investigation.
According to deputies, this is the 4th traffic fatality of the year.

Waushara County Sheriff’s Deputies say a 23-year-old man from Poy Sippi is dead after a car crash.
Deputies say this happened Friday, just after 6:00 p.m. on County Road D in the Town of Poy Sippi.
Responding deputies arrived and found a vehicle had went off the road, through a hay field and rolled into the Willow Creek. This is located about a .5 mile west of 35th Lane.
Deputies say the Poy Sippi Fire Department arrived and began to look for victims. One victim was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team was requested to help with searching the Willow Creek. At this time it is not known if there are additional victims.
The crash remains under investigation by the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office.
