The De Pere Board of Park Commissioners plans to meet next week, to reconsider its ruling to create a new aquatic center that would replace the Legion Pool.
The "Save Legion Pool" group has been fighting to keep the pool open, saying it would be unsafe for kids to walk to another pool on the city's west side.
The Common Council previously voted to close the Legion Pool because of its condition.
