HILBERT, WI -- Calumet County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a burglar in the act Friday night.
It happened around 7 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church Learning Center in the Village of Hilbert.
The daycare manager received a notification of an intruder on her smart phone and was able to watch the burglary in process.
Deputies arrested a 50-year-old Green Bay man as he attempted to exit the building.
The suspect was found to be carrying a steak knife.
Investigators found the suspect had pried open a desk drawer inside the daycare.
The suspect was brought to Calumet County Jail for charges of armed burglary.
