President Trump is expected to make a decision on the future of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program this week, which protects undocumented immigrants who came to the country as children.

According to the American Immigration Council, nearly 12,000 of those immigrants, also called "Dreamers," live in Wisconsin.

In Appleton Monday, DACA supporters made it clear they don't agree with President Trump's possible decision to end the program, holding a rally at Houdini Plaza.

The rally was a peaceful protest to show solidarity, organize and call representatives, organizers said.

Organizers said they are prioritizing the voices of immigrants, but are asking for all people's help.

President Trump is expected to make a decision on the program Tuesday.
