Manitowoc police report a man was injured in a vehicle-bicycle accident early Sunday morning. According to a news release, the bicycle rider was hit by a car near N Rapids Road and South Michigan Ave. around 3:45 AM.
The man was taken to the hospital for treatment for lacerations and a broken ankle. The vehicle's driver was not injured but he was given a ticket for failing to yield the right of way to a bicyclist.
