Cycling Santas in downtown Green Bay Friday

Posted

GREEN BAY, WI -- About 70 Santas will pedal through downtown Green Bay Friday night to raise money for veteran suicide.

The charity bikeride called Cycling Santas is collecting donations for the 4th H.O.O.A.H Wisconsin.

If you're in the area you're in for a treat.

"You can expect to see some vintage pedal bikes. There will be a few tandem bikes. They're all decked out with garland, lights and stuffed animals. If you see one Santa, you're probably going to see about 20 more Santas behind that one Santa," said co-chair of the event, Eric Junot.

Last year, Cycling Santas collected about $1000.

The group is hoping to double that this year.

They're starting out at the Sardine Can around 7 p.m.
