Curfew in effect for Waupun over storm damage

The city of Waupun has declared a state of emergency and placed a curfew on the city until Wednesday morning. The city announced the curfew Tuesday evening. The curfew goes into effect from 10 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday. During the curfew, people are required to stay off the roadways. No one will be allowed into the city unless proof of residency is provided or for shift workers reporting to work with employer issued ID. A shelter has been set up at Brandon Elementary School, 200 West Bowen Street, Brandon, WI. Anyone who needs help getting to the shelter can call 920-324-7920.
