One person is being treated for smoke inhalation after a garage fire in Green Bay early Tuesday morning.

It broke out around 2 a.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of Murphy Drive.

Fire crews say they found heavy smoke and flames coming from an attached garage.

The roof collapsed shortly after crews arrived. The fire spread to the attic and living areas of the home.

There were propane and acetylene tanks in and around the garage that had to be cooled and removed from the area.

The cause remains under investigation.
