Crews prepare for latest winter storm

Posted

Crews are ready for long hours on the roads and highways as the latest winter storm closes in on Northeast Wisconsin. "We're prepared to go out and let our salt trucks plow the primary roads." De Pere Public Works' Scott Thoresen explains.

Outagamie County executive Tom Nelson says police in his county are urging drivers to stay off the roads. "We only have so many trucks to go out," he explained.

Counties in the path of the storm say a towing ban could be issued during the storm. Several municipalities in Northeast Wisconsin are under snow emergencies, which means parking restrictions are in place until crews can clear the snow.
