UPDATE: Crews battle fire in Door County

UPDATE: Multiple fire crews worked through the night on a fire in the southern part of Door County. 

The fire started around 8:30 p.m. Sunday near the corner of Rocky Road and County Line Road. 

Every fire department in Door and Kewaunee Counties was deployed along with several fire departments from the Green Bay area. 

The building that was on fire used to be a bowling alley but had been converted to an apartment with four units. 

All of the occupants were evacuated and no one was hurt. 

The fire chief says he hasn't seen a fire like this in 19 years. 

The Red Cross was on scene to assist the affected families. 

Firefighters worked in 15 minute increments and armed up inside a school bus from Southern Door High School on scene. 

Firefighters say the fire was caused by a furnace in the basement.

According to an officer on scene, the fire started around 8:30 p.m. Sunday. 

The structure on fire is located at the corner of Rocky Road and County Line Road.
