DENMARK, Wis-- Crews battled an early morning barn fire on Blahnik Rd.
The call came in at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Upon arrival, heavy smoke and flames could be seen from miles away.
The Denmark fire chief says 40 to 50 pigs were in the barn, and only two made it out alive.
Four other fire departments assisted. Damage estimates are unknown at this time.
The cause remains under investigation.
