Matt and Amanda Shaver opened the doors to their new home Tuesday, thanks to the efforts of Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity and volunteers.

The home in De Pere is the 94th home the group has built.

The Shavers put in 500 hours of "sweat equity" to qualify for the home.

The couple, who have two young daughters, were thrilled to become homeowners.

"The opportunity to own our own house is something that I will forever be grateful,” said Matt Shaver.

The ladies of NBC26 helped build the home, pitching in to frame exterior walls.
